Be careful not to click on publish for a blog that is only halfway done, or that you know you are going to make changes to. There is nothing worse than putting up something that isn’t quality or doesn’t have a complete thought.
If you are logged into your WordPress blog, you can see what I am talking about. Whether you are in the visual or the html screen where you type your blog, if you look to the right you will see the buttons for “save draft”, “preview”, and of course “publish”. This is what you want to click on when you publish your blog.
If you want to know how to post a blog to your WordPress site, then all you have to do is click on “publish”, and you are ready to go. Make sure that your:
- Blog is complete
- That you have added tags in the “tags” section
- You have previewed the blog first to make sure it’s what you want
Once you have done all of those steps, you are ready to publish your blog to your WordPress site.
How to Post a Blog When You Can’t be Around!
It is also important that you know that you can schedule a post too. If you look just above this section in the back end of your blog, you will see that you can publish immediately and you can edit that.
You can schedule it ahead, or you can even change the date. The choice is yours! No matter what you choose to blog about or when, you can always change those posts. This is a great feature if you have another obligation to tend to.
